Reeves explains the film’s Batmobile, “It has to make an appearance out of the shadows to intimidate, so I thought of it almost like Stephen King’s Christine.” Speaking with Empire Magazine, Reeves notes that Christine was an inspiration on his Batman! We’re of course talking about the Stephen King killer car novel, which became a John Carpenter movie.
